LARGE SCALE REDEVELOPMENT FOR NEW AUTOMOTIVE PARTS SUPPLIER / Project ID 2021-2E7E
The project estimate is $66 million, and plans include a total of 728,000 square feet of class A industrial space. Per the developer, they are in their due diligence period right now and then will work on design documents. Bidding will be this May at the earliest.

STUDENT HOUSING FOR A UNIVERSITY / Project ID 2021-2EC1
This 400‐bed, apartment style residence hall is estimated to cost $200 million. Plans also include the
renovations and upgrades to current student housing. The initial plans, design work and formal
agreement are slated to be presented to the Board of Regents during the middle of 2022 with
construction completion in 2025.

EXPANSION OF A CANCER INSTITUTE / Project ID 2021-2F0D
Groundbreaking for this $46 million project is planned for summer 2022. Plans include a 13,800 square foot vertical expansion of the cancer center; a 7,200 square foot expansion of the proton therapy center; development of a third proton therapy vault with two patient treatment spaces; and parking lot and entry improvements.

NEW VEHICLE BATTERY PLANT / Project ID 2021-2EEE
The plant will be approximately 2.5 million square feet, located on 700 acres. The project is scheduled to be completed by December 31st of 2025.

THERAPY AND RESEARCH CENTER / Project ID’s 2021-2F81, 2021-2F84, 2021-2F85
The total estimate for phases one through three is $22 million. Groundbreaking is planned four June
2023. Phase one will be a three‐story, 24,000 square foot therapy center. Phase two will be a residence where families can stay for days or weeks at a time. Phase three will be an Olympic sized pool and other hydrotherapy equipment. There will also be softball fields.

LARGE SCALE AFFORDBLE HOUSING FACILITY / Project ID 2021-2FDC
Proposed are renovations for 525 affordable housing units. The project estimate is approximately $95.4 million, and bidding is anticipated for April or May.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR A HEALTH, WELLNESS AND FITNESS CENTER FOR A UNIVERSITY / Project ID 2021-3005
Responses are due by January 21st for this 300,000 square foot, $150 million facility. The construction manager is set to be selected during February through April of 2022 and construction is to begin during summer 2025.

NEW ARTS AND CULTURE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING / Project ID 2022-000D
They are currently heading into a two‐year fundraising schedule for the project. Plans include administrative and office space, a 110‐person performance art venue, as well as spaces for audio engineering, photography, and a place where young people can hang out after school. Plans for the headquarters building also include two retail storefronts for local black and brown entrepreneurs, as well as eight apartment units.
