Big Dig: Construction vs Cancer

Nov 4, 2020 | News

The American Cancer Society invites Builders Exchange of Michigan members to join the 2021 Big Dig: Construction vs Cancer to help end pediatric cancer. The two Michigan events, typically held in July, invite children and families to step up and try their hand at driving the big diggers, excavators, and bulldozers. These events allow kids to not only touch the machinery but operate and dig with the construction industry volunteers as well.

In 2021, this event will be hosted in both Howell and Kalamazoo. Sponsors and industry leaders are invited to hold local employee engagement activities, at their locations, to show support for the Big Dig: Construction vs Cancer.

Currently, the event planning committee is recruiting members of the construction industry to help make this event the biggest and best. They are seeking construction leadership in roles from Board to Executive Leadership to Event Sponsors. If you are interested in volunteering, helping plan, or sponsoring this event, please contact Kristen Nitz.

These events will be added to the Builders Exchange of Michigan calendar once dates are released.
