The city’s planning commission reviewed the preliminary site plans in early July for a new entertainment venue that will occupy a vacant 38,000-square-foot big-box retail space. The venue will feature a large-format, immersive play environment with multi-level play structures ranging from two to five stories, themed party rooms, high-performance launch pads, trampolines, a dedicated toddler play area, a climbable volcano with slides, free-fall foam pits, and a full-service kitchen.

This 940,000-square-foot project is currently in the exploratory phase and may not move forward for several years. Conceptual plans include five multifamily residential buildings ranging from five to six stories in height, along with a five-story hotel featuring approximately 120 units and a 15,000-square-foot lobby and amenity space. The residential component is expected to include studio through two-bedroom units, consisting of approximately 585 market-rate units, 200 affordable units, and 200 senior housing units.
