We will continue to be a resource for all members and post announcements on this page and in our Weekly Recap email each Friday.
  • Mel Trotter Ministries will continue to keep their doors open and provide a constant safety net to the vulnerable community members they serve. This means that they will have added costs for supplies, food, and temporary staffing. Mel Trotter Ministries is actively seeking professional volunteers to fill staffing needs in food service, medical, and security. Please visit the Mel Trotter Ministries website for more information.
  • Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced that absent voter ballot applications will be mailed by her office to all voters in the May 5 election to help ensure both public health and democratic rights are protected. This will affect the May school bond elections and the construction projects they are attached to. For more information, please read the press release here.
  • To our members who perform residential construction, please read more information about what is included in the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order here and here.
  • Michigan’s small businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 virus can now apply for the Michigan Small Business Relief Program. Find more information and apply here.

We encourage our members to do their part in following the guidelines established by the CDC. For more information on COVID-19, please visit the CDC website.
